• On the Navigation System
  • 1. Press the “Menu” button.
  • 2. Select “Setup”
  • 3. Select “Bluetooth”
  • 4. Select “Registered Devices”
  • 5. Select “Add New”
  • 6. Enter or confirm passkey if prompted by phone.

  • 1. Select “Settings” from the main menu.
  • 2. Select “General”
  • 3. Select “Bluetooth”
  • 4. Ensure Bluetooth is ON.
  • 5. Select your carkit from the list.
  • 6. Enter the PIN or confirm the passkey shown on the vehicle display.
  • 7. Select “OK” or “Pair” if necessary.

Now that your phone is connected, lets take a look at how to add entries to your phonebook, transfer phone numbers, set “Speed Dial” and how to actually make a phone call using the “Speed Dial”.

Adding an entry to the phonebook

• On the Navigation System
  • 1. Press the “Phone” or “Off-hook” button.
  • 2. Select “Contacts”
  • 3. If the phonebook is empty and a “Manual” option is displayed, select it and go to Step 7. Otherwise, go to Step 5.
  • 4. If the phonebook is empty and the system does not display a “Manual” option, select “Yes” and refer to the instructions for transferring phone numbers from the phone to the vehicle.
  • 5. Select “Options”
  • 6. Select “Manage Contacts”
  • 7. Select “New Contact”
  • 8. Enter a name and select “OK”
  • 9. Enter a phone number and select “OK”
  • 10. Select one of the following: “Home”, “Work”, “Mobile” or “Other”
  • 11. Select “Yes” to add another contact number or “No” to complete the phonebook entry.

  • 2. Select “Contacts”
  • 3. If you are prompted to transfer or create contacts, select “Transfer” and if the transfer does not automatically start, proceed to “- On the Phone -”.
  • 4. Select “Options”
  • 5. Select “Manage Contacts”
  • 6. Select “Transfer Contacts”
  • 7. Depending on your phone’s capabilities, the system will prompt to either “Update Contacts”, “Replace Contacts” or “Add Contacts”
  • 8. If the transfer does not automatically start, proceed to “- On the Phone -”.
